Mademba Gueye is a teacher at the Academy Lafayette in Kansas city Missouri. He previously taught in Dakar, Senegal at “Seydou Nourou Tall” private college from 1992 to 1995 as a French teacher and “École Actuelle Bilingue” (EAB) in Dakar from 1996 to 2018.

His educational background includes:

• A license in philosophy (University Cheich Anta Diop in Dakar / Senegal in 1994)

• A DEA (diploma of in-depth study specializing in sociology (University Cheich Anta Diop in Dakar in 1995)
  

• A CAP pedagogical aptitude certificate (issued by the Senegalese Ministry of National Education in 2005),

• A certificate of teaching as a teacher, corrector and examiner of Fle and Flesi (French as a second language) for adults and children (issued by the CIEP and the French Institute of Dakar / Senegal in 2016).

He taught on a temporary basis for two years, while working in the private sector.

French teacher at Seydou Nourou Tall private college (from 1993 to 1996), his first experience with adolescents was to set up project-based pedagogy which puts children at the center of their learning.

From 1996 to 2021 (at the Current Bilingual School in Dakar and at the Lafayette Academy in Kansas City Missouri), he decided to devote himself to the training and education of the youngest (from kindergarten to 5th grade).

His main missions consist of:

• To place the child at the heart of a global project. The learning of self-confidence is put forward in every activity. Children are encouraged to focus on their creativity and their inner strengths.
  

• To understand and help children with academic difficulties.

At the same time, since 2016, Mademba Gueye has focused on training and preparing for DELF / DELF and TCF diplomas for adults (between the French Institute of Dakar and the French Alliance of Kansas City Missouri).

Mademba Gueye is passionate about reading, philosophy and poetry.
